Deliver in Obedience: Walking Out God’s Assignment

Blog 6 · CALLED™ Series · D = Deliver in Obedience-
Obedience is the step where many of us stall. We pray, plan, and prepare. Then fear or perfectionism slows us down when it is time to deliver.
James 1:22 says:
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
When Delayed Obedience Cost Me
God told me to share my story publicly. I had journals full of notes and testimony of His goodness. But instead of delivering, I kept polishing. People who needed encouragement didn’t hear it because I was waiting.
When I finally delivered, it wasn’t perfect. But it was faithful. And God used it.
Why Delivering Matters
-
Obedience is better than intention
-
Small steps of faith open doors you cannot see yet
-
What you release in obedience multiplies beyond what you imagined
Journal Exercise: Use Your Faith & Focus Bible Journal
Open your Faith & Focus Bible Journal to the Bible Study Worksheet.
Name the Assignment
At the top of the page, write: “God has asked me to deliver ______ this week.”
Pray It Out
In “My Prayers for Today,” write your fears, hesitations, and gratitude.
Break It Down
In “How can I apply this scripture to my life?”, list three small steps that move the assignment forward.
Reflect
At the end of the week, use “Reflections” to record what happened, where you saw God’s faithfulness, and what you learned.
What I’ve Learned
Obedience rarely looks flashy. Most of the time it looks like quiet faithfulness. But it’s never wasted. God takes your seed and turns it into harvest.
Wrapping the CALLED™ Series
This closes the CALLED™ Framework, but it’s really a beginning. Walk these six steps again and again in every season. Keep your Faith & Focus Bible Journal close. Over time, its pages will tell the story of God’s voice, your obedience, and His faithfulness.
